What is the deal???.....

What is the deal with the blogs that have the little decoder thing at the bottom and you have to copy a string of random letters to post a comment. I hope none of my visitors have to do that cause for some reason that drives me nutso! Whats the point, do those bloggers want to be sure their readers are well read and know all the letters of the alphabet and where they at on the keyboard. I've been thinking about this for some time now...and although its a boring blog post there ya go.
Obviously things in my private life aren't that exciting if I'm so consumed about thinking about a secret code you have to enter to post a comment. My husband Tyler was home all last weekend, he had taken both of his jobs (He works as an accountant and then also at sears in the evenings) he'd taken them off for the week cause of his hunting trip. He got a deer, or caught a deer as my mom likes to put it. LOL He came home thursday night and we spent the whole weekend together, saw a movie, visited his parents. It was nice to have him home since he's not home much.
anyhow....my life and thoughts lately are very boring so I'll end this monotinous blog. Sianara.

not sure if you're actually looking for an answer . . . but I have the security code thing at the bottom of my blog so that no spammers can tell me all about their websites which may or may not be "kosher" in nature! ;)

They are there so that computer generated posts cannot be made. A live person has to enter the letters to be able to make a post. :) Nifty eh?
But if you don't mind spam.. don't put it up :)

Maren no blog entry is a dull blog entry. It's a voice, heard, by all the other bored ladies out here.
Thank you. Thank you.

I was just about to post the exact same thing! I know the codes are there for security but I have more than once, not gotten the code right. I'm like Beth "what on earth is that letter?" Then there are days I think if I look at it hard enough, I'll be able to read the code. Other days I go "oh, this one looks easy!" Of course sometimes I still get it wrong. I blame my contacts being in the wrong eyes on those days. ;) They can be a pain, but they do help a lot of people.

Glad you and Tyler were able to spend some time together!
